Abdul Rehman Memon is an Emeritus Professor. Presently he is performing his duties as a rector of Newports Institute of Communication & Economics. He has been a Founding Vice Chancellor of Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology and a professor of electrical engineering at the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology where he also served as the Vice Chancellor. He also has served as a Dean Faculty of Engineering in Mehran University of Engineering and Technology MUET and Dean FEST Hamdard University
Dr. Abdul Rehman Memon received his MSc. Degree in Electronic Circuit and System Engineering from Bath University of Technology, England in 1968 and Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering) from City University London, UK in 1972. He has more than 37 years of professional experiences.
Dr. A.R Memon has published around 50 national and international repute publications and around 46 international conference papers. He has published 5 books and recently authored book titled “Telescoping AL-QURAN for applications in Engineering (Vol-I) ” and
"Telescoping AL-QURAN for applications in Engineering (Vol-II)" is in completion phase.
He is expert in various fields some of his remarkable expertise are Expert Accreditation Pakistan Engineering Council(PEC) , Engineering Education planning & Management for 25 and 22 years respectively.
Besides other expertise in research, management and teaching he has expertise in Educational Planning and Management, Digital Signal Processing, Control Engineering, Disastionics, Quality Control & Accreditation.
TELESCOPING AL-QURAN FOR APPLICATIONS IN ENGINEERING
This paper is in continuation of a similar previous one but there is a difference. The first paper(Vol-I) relates to the study of Engineering applications described in Sepirah#1 namely (AlifLaam Meem). In the first paper death equation and Law of Induction was given. The present study relates the similar applications in Sepirah#2 namely (Se-Ye-Qool). This Sepirah consists of Ayats ∑ 111 out of which it has been observed that 50% are specifically connected to Engineering applications. The details of engineering applications include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Convocation, Universal Engineering, Civic Sense, Agriculture Engineering, Outcome, Audit, Control Engineering, Compensation, Stability, Equilibrium, Tests, Obedience, Efficiency and Disciplinary rules. Novelty in Vol-II is one of Control Engineering and Universal Engineering. Further research continues and shall be reported in Vol-III.
